Holland America Alaska Cruise Tour September 2007
Cindy,
What a wonderful trip! It was everything we expected and more! We loved the McKinley Explorer and all the beauty of Denali Park the first week. Then the second week on the cruise ship Ryndam was great. We're so glad we chose Holland America for our first cruise. The cabin, the service, the food, and just plain being pampered for a week was wonderful! The first seating for dinner was perfect for us because it left time to go the the 8:30 theater show, shop, play the slots. Our favorite spot was probably College Fjord. Words or pictures could never describe the extroadinary beauty of the glaciers and to experience them up close. Our add on trip to Vancouver and Victoria was also great. Vancouver city tour and Victoria is something we are so glad we didn't miss. The Butchart Gardens in Victoria were absolutely beautiful!
Thanks so much for your help with all our arrangements. It was so good to have you on the trip with us as part of our group!

Alaska Cruise Tour 2007
Wow, we are still talking about the trip but it has taken me most of last week to get back on schedule. I guess it was because of the cold but I'm better now. Our Alaska trip was the BEST!!! You helped us from the word go and everything happened just the way you said it would. You gave us alot of encouragement along the way and that made us feel really great. The sights and scenes were just as advertised plus more. I don't think one can describe the scenery you just have to experience it. It was one of the best trips we have taken. I am going back to the swimming class tomorrow and hopefully, will see the rest of the group and I'm sure all will feel as we do.
We feel blessed that you were part of the group and we hope that we can do this again and just maybe Ed will be able to join in too. Thanks again for everything Cruise Planners did for us.

Bermuda RCCL 2007
Greetings,
My mother and sisters had a wonderful adventure on their cruise to Bermuda. My wife is suggesting that I plan another cruise with my mother sometime next year for the three of us. I will keep you informed as to when and where.
Thank you very much for your professionalism and expertise with cruising. Peace!
Sincerely,
Joe R. Brake Jr.

Alaska RCCL August 2007
Cindy,
We arrived home last night at midnight. We spent an extra day in Seattle just to be sure we could make our connections.
WE HAD A WONDERFUL CRUISE! Thanks for the bottle of merlot and chocolate dipped strawberries which welcomed us to our room. That was so very nice of you.
We have much to tell about the cruise, our first, and it is all good. The accommodations were very nice, well appointed and serviced and we loved the balcony. We were able to change our dinner seating to the 6:00 after a couple of days - the 8:30 was just too late (it was actually 10:30 Omaha time) so we ate in the cafeteria the first two days. The Tracy Arm Fjord was the highlight for us. We had an exceptionally sunny, warm day and so many people were on deck just in awe of the sight. We had attended two lectures given on board by a geologist and appreciated it all so very much.
We met lovely people all the time - from all over the country and of all ages. The only tedious time was the initial embarkment - the line was long but understandably so. The whole cruise is run very efficiently and with courtesy and cheerfulness. We loved it all.
John wrote a note to Henry this morning but I think they have left home to go to their daughter's before leaving with you. Will you please give them both our greetings and best wishes for as lovely a trip as we experienced.
Thanks for your help. We never would have gone without your assistance and encouragement.
Sincerely,
Sandy

Europe November 2007 Carnival Freedom
Cindy:
Thanks so much for assisting us with our cruise. We had a wonderful time
and we appreciate the nice gift basket you sent to our room. Everything
went great although we had a few "tense" moments in the airports getting our
correct boarding passes. Once on the cruise things were smooth and we
enjoyed getting to see the sights in Rome and Pisa. We guess the transatlantic
is not for everyone (some of our fellow cruisers seemed to get
a little RUDE as the week went along) however we thoroughly enjoyed it and
had a fun week playing bingo, trivia, the casino, shows, etc. We will
definitely look at transatlantic cruises in the future.
We have attached a couple of pictures and again want to thank you for your
help.
Happy Holidays,
Bill and Beth Hamilton

Holland America Volendam November 2007
Cindy,
Returned yesterday to freezing weather and now ....snow. Spoiled by the warm weather and ocean breezes.
Thanks so much for the perks that you sent us....enjoyed dinner in the Pinnacle Grill, used the photo credit and got bought pictures this time, and shared the very delicious bottle of champagne with our table mates....whom were very enjoyable, interesting and funny. One couple was from Great Britain, and do much traveling throughout the US and Europe...it helps that the pound is double the dollar.
the other couple were from Tampa, so all in all we lucked out again at the dinner seating.
Anyway, we loved the cruise, had very rough seas after leaving Half Moon Cay until we reached Aruba...when the rain began. So as a result, was not impressed with Aruba, as we couldn't get to the beaches.....loved Curacao, and sailing through the Panama Canal locks was extremely interesting. Had a great shore excursion in Porto Limon...and a good thing as the area around the port is very poor, decrepit, and looked to be a little iffy. What homes or businesses were standing intact had bars and barbed wire around the perimeter...
We found the banana plantation to be very interesting, and wonder at the stamina of the workers....looks like very hard and repetitious work. There is much poverty in and around the port area.
The shore excursion people were not very helpful regarding the beaches in Aruba...just to let you know......but everyone else on the ship was just great. The cabin and dining stewards were just the best. Loved the ship as it was very manageable for me to walk...and was easy to remember where everything was.
Looks like the Veendam has the same layout as the Volendam, except a little smaller.
We were not aware of some of the specials you could order...there were wine packages, and other specials that we will probably take advantage of on the next sailing.....especially the internet special......the charge was 75 cents per minute......you can bet I was very quick with messages.
The food was fantastic...much better than the Costa Magica, though the Magica was a much newer ship and was much more glitzy and glamorous. The cabin was fine, and we were glad for the upgrade....as it gets sort of claustrophobic sometimes........loved being able to look out the window...had some lovely sunsets on our side of ship.............hopefully we can get upgraded for the February cruise.
Anyway, all in all it was wonderful and we are looking forward to sailing again. Miss all the pampering.
Guess we have another payment due soon....can you send us the first statement as I can't find anything in this house.....we had so much paperwork for the last cruise between airline confirmations, boarding passes, and trying to keep track of ID, cruise cards, passports...aghhhhhhhhhhhh, etc. Now I am trying to find my airline confirmations for the Feb. sailing. No luck yet.
Thanks again for your kindness
